Deeksha
Sri Gurubhoyo Namaha

Srividya Deeksha is the formal introduction into the holy tradition of Srividya, which is the esoteric worship of Sri Lalita Tripurasundari, the Supreme Divine Mother. This initiation is given by the Guru and follows a methodical approach to spiritual advancement. Depending on the aspirant's spiritual maturity and the Guru's lineage, Srividya initiation usually takes place in phases.
Sacred Mantra Initiation, or Mantra Deeksha
A Srividya Mantra is given to the disciple; for novices, this is typically the Bala Tripurasundari Mantra.
Receiving the 15-syllable Panchadasi Mantra and then the 16-syllable Shodashi Mantra is a step towards advancement. The Maha Shodashi Mantra, which is regarded as the highest form of Srividya Sadhana, is given to some of the very advanced practitioners.
Navavarana Puja, Sri Chakra Puja, and Srividya Homa (fire rituals) are taught to initiates.
Worshiping the Sri Chakra, which is a geometric symbol of the energy of the Divine Mother, is part of this. Only individuals who have finished earlier phases of Srividya Sadhana are eligible for Purna Deeksha, the ultimate level of Deeksha. The disciple receives spiritual energy (Shakti Pata) from the Guru.
Who can receive the Deeksha ?
Traditionally, Srividya was restricted to a select few. Nonetheless, regardless of caste or gender, a large number of contemporary Gurus initiate both men and women. The aspirant must have purity of heart, devotion, and discipline to practice the given Sadhana.
Sadhana helps the aspirant in:
Bringing forth the inner divine consciousness
Burning the karmic footprint and past-life obstacles
Bestowing tranquility, abundance, and spiritual insight
Facilitate self-realization (Atma Vidya)
