Srividya Maha Samsthana
The Srividya Maha Samsthana is a revered spiritual organization devoted to the teachings and practices of the Srividya tradition, with a particular emphasis on the veneration of the Divine Mother, Sri Lalita Tripurasundari.
Situated in Haragadde, Bangalore, Karnataka, India, the Mahasamsthana functions as a hub for initiation, education, and the practice of Srividya. The origins of the Srividya Maha Samsthana can be traced back to approximately 650 years to Sri Vidyaranya Swami. Throughout the centuries, this lineage has encompassed a diverse array of practitioners, including Sanyasis (renunciates), Avadhutas (mystics), and Grihastas (householders).
This diversity underscores the belief that the profound insights of Brahma Vidya are accessible to all deserving individuals, irrespective of their background or stage in life. A notable event in the history of the Mahasamsthana was the inauguration of a new building on February 14, 2024. This occasion also included the Prana Pratishthapana (consecration) of the Sri Chakra Mahameru, which symbolizes the institution's dedication to safeguarding and advancing the rich legacy of Srividya.
"At a time, when such a Brahma Vidya initiation is made available with a price tag, It is the GURUMANDALA’s command to keep, preserve and spread the tradition in its purest form without a price tag. The GURUMANDALA command has prompted and guided me to establish the SRIVIDYA MAHA SAMSTHANA with the support of my ardent disciples and followers" - Sri Atmanandanatha Guruji
